Grandma's sweet chicken

My grandmother from my mother’s side always used to make this. The most exotic dish in her repertoire ;)

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken fillet

  • ½ tsp. sambal

  • 1 tsp. brown sugar

  • 1 tsp. sugar syrup

  • ½ tsp. paprika powder

  • 1 tbsp. ketjap

  • ½ tbsp. tomato ketchup

  • 2½ tbsp. milk

  • 100ml water

  • 1 union

  • 1½ tbsp. flour

  • 1 bouillon cube

  • Vegetables of choice

Directions

  • Cut the chicken in cubes and fry

  • Remove chicken from pan and fry the unions

  • Add vegetables

  • Add flour

  • Add water and milk while stirring constantly

  • Stir until reaching a smooth mixture

  • Add other ingredients

  • Add chicken

  • Serve with rice
