Smoked salmon quiche

This quiche is far from complicated, and the smoked salmon really adds an extra layer of depth.

Components

  • Quiche crust

Ingredients

  • 200g smoked salmon flakes

  • 250g pasta vegetables or similar vegetable-mix

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 eggs

  • 3 tbsp half-fat milk

Directions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 200°C

  • Heat the oil in a pan, and heat vegetables for 5 minutes on medium-low heat. Add garlic.

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs. Add milk, salt and pepper.

  • Add salmon to vegetables and add a good amount of salt and pepper. Shortly fry.

  • Spread vegetables in quiche crust. Pour egg-mix over.

  • Bake in oven for 35 minutes.

Quiche crust

Ingredients

  • 300g flour

  • 150g butter

  • pinch of salt

  • 1 egg

  • 2-3 tbsp cold water

Directions

  • Put ingredients in a bowl, start with two tbsp water.

  • Mix well. If dough is too dry, add another tbsp water.

  • Cover and put in the fridge for half an hour. You can work on the filling in this time

  • Cover kitchen surface with flour and roll the dough flat. Transfer to form. Create holes in the bottom with a fork.
